Thank You!

We would like to thank all our donors – individuals, event sponsors, businesses, churches, schools, and organizations for your continued support of Webster Comfort Care Home!

Each day we find our world, our everyday lives being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools and businesses have closed or adjusted their working hours. Our hospitals continue to prepare and plan to meet the ever-changing needs of our community. The terms “social distancing” and “self-isolation” if one feels ill has affected us all.

At Webster Comfort Care Home we also have to consider the health and welfare of our more than 100 volunteers and nurses who put others ahead of their families. Some of our volunteers are college students working towards nursing degrees. When schools began closing in March, these volunteers were no longer able to help us. The majority of our dedicated volunteers are older and many retired. We must also consider their health and well-being during these difficult days.

Our volunteers are the “lifeblood” of our organization and without them, we cannot provide the important end of life services to our residents and their families that they so deserve. We take seriously our responsibility to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. And like many organizations, we are implementing steps to safeguard our future residents, their families, our volunteers and our home during these unsettling times.

Effective April 1, 2020, we are suspending our services and activities at Webster Comfort Care Home. We will resume services when it is determined safe for our volunteers to return.

In the meantime our home is being thoroughly cleaned and updated so that when our residents, their families and our volunteers are able to return we will be prepared and ready to resume excellent quality care to those in need of end-of-life services.

Thank you! You truly make a difference in our community when you support Webster Comfort Care Home.
